Anemia means lack of blood in the body. When you are suffering from Anemia, you will have low blood count and a less effective circulatory system. Your hair follicles will not receive the necessary quantity of oxygen supply and nourishment it needs and cause of hair loss.
There are two types of anemia concerned with hair loss:
|
|
Most common
form of anemia is iron deficiency anemia.
Shortage of iron in the blood is one of the most frequent
causes of hair loss. Hair loss due to iron deficiency affects
women and rarely ever men. Women who are most vulnerable include
Joggers, Pregnant and who have just given birth. In addition
iron deficiency in women has been shown in several clinical
studies to be a frequent cause of hair loss in non-menopausal
women of 35 to 50.
Hair loss due to anemia can still be reversed. The patient would
consult a medical professional's help and take iron supplements,
hair may be regained. The process is quite simple but it could
also take time-first, the iron supplement will replace the
depleted iron. The patient must also make sure to take
sufficient dosage of iron each time so that negative iron
imbalance would not occur. Once the iron levels return to normal,
it is also possible that hair would slowly grow back.
