1. Do not get laser hair removal treatment when you have suntan or sunburn before 4 weeks.

2. If you have a darker skin tone, you should begin a bleaching regimen at least two weeks before laser hair removal treatment.

3. Do not waxing, tweezing and electrolysis at least 3 weeks.

4. Stop bleaching or plucking for 2 weeks before treatment.

5. You should shave the area to be treated 1-3 days before treatment (some clinics will offer to do this for you)

6. If you get cold sores or have genital herpes, start taking Zovirax, or similar medicine before treatment.
