Working Principle
Laser :
Laser targets just the pigment of the hair and hair root. The laser emits a pulse, which travels through the skin and is absorbed by the pigment (melanin) in the hair, the light skin around it reflects the light. The laser then heats up the hair's shaft and root, destroying it without affecting the skin or follicle. Then the hair is prevented to regrow any further.
Electrolysis :
Electrolysis targets the hair follicle. A hair-thin metal probe is slid into a hair follicle. When the probes are positioned, an electrical current passes through the follicle, destroying both the growing hair and its root. When performed properly, hairs will permanently removed.

Electrolysis is needed at least 15 hours of treatment for a small area such as lip. So it is the more expensive than laser.
