Is Silk'n™ IPL hair removal home devices right for me?
The good candidates for Silk'n hair removal home devices are people who have brown or black hair on light skin, they are Fitzpatrick skin type II, III, IV. Red hair might be removed, but you will need more than the average number of sessions.

- Those with a naturally dark skin color cannot use Silk'n™ because burns, blisters and/or changes in skin color can result, Fitzpatrick skin type V, VI. White, gray, or blond hair will not benefit from using the system, Fitzpatrick skin type I.
- Silk'n™ hair removal home devices is designed to treat hair growth below the neck, But excluding genitals. The most common areas treated with Silk'n™ are: legs, underarms, arms and bikini line. It is not recommended for use on the face.
- Do not use on tanned skin or after recent sun exposure.
- Do not use to pregnant or breast feeding women.
- Do not use on areas with lesions (ie warts, moles, cysts, cold sores).
- Do not use to individuals with photosensitive diseases or are taking photosensitive medications (ie Accutane).
