Editor's Reviews for Canyon Ranch SpaClub at Venetian

The waiting room at this hotel spa could double as a doctor's office, but treatment rooms and deluxe spa suites are tranquil and luxurious. Other amenities include a fitness center and a giant rock-climbing wall under soaring ceilings. Exotic treatments include hot-stone therapy, ayurvedic rejuvenation, seaweed body cocoons and watsu pool massages. The Rasul treatment involves getting slathered in therapeutic mud and entering the beehive-shaped chamber for an herbal steam under a starry fiber-optic sky.

User Reviews for Canyon Ranch SpaClub at the Venetian

Posted by kerryjacksonA week into my almost 2 week business trip to Las Vegas, I was very much looking forward to my spa day. I had an aromatherapy massage and a facial. The facial was excellent and easily the best part of my experience at Canyon Ranch.

The massage was okay- not bad but nothing to write home about either. The thing that I was most disappointed about was the public areas ,especially the pool area which was very small and had no lounge chairs. Relaxing by the pool after my treatments, alternately reading and napping, is usually my favorite part of the spa experience. I guess that I expected more from the Canyon Ranch name. Next year I will go back to Mandalay Bay, which I very much preferred.

  • Pros :The facial was the best I've ever had.
  • Cons :Parking!! The Venetian is the worst casino on the Strip when it comes to parking.

Posted by ritzgirl21I've been to Canyon a couple times now. I've enjoyed their great fitness classes, outstanding spa, and signature "hot rock" massage therapy. However, the last time I visited the spa, the front desk staff lost my appointments. They actually scheduled my services for the wrong day, so my sister and I were forced to take appointments at different times. I was also told that only a male therapist was available even though I requested a female. My therapist, Noa, actually ended up being a woman, not to mention the best massuese I have ever had. So, I guess I'll thank the front desk for their numerous mistakes, which resulted in the best massage I've ever had.

  • Pros :Massages, Fitness Classes.
  • Cons :Incompetent Front Desk.

Message from Canyon Ranch SpaClub at the Venetian

We had been in Las Vegas for a few days and had quite a bit of sensory overload. Las Vegas is a gaudy, loud, and exciting city - a perfect place for the quiet contrast of a tranquil spa. Although we had already visited a couple of other spas, my husband and I looked forward to unwinding in the recently opened Canyon Ranch SpaClub at the Venetian Resort Hotel & Casino.

Canyon Ranch is a highly thought of spa "brand" with their two destination spas usually in the top ranks of any spa preference poll. Canyon Ranch Health Resort (the original - in Tucson, AZ) came in #6 and Canyon Ranch In the Berkshires Health Resort (the second - in Lenox, MA) came in #2 on Condé Nast Traveler's 1999 Readers' Choice Awards. Travel & Leisure magazine's 1999 World's Best Awards, published in the September issue, site Canyon Ranch as the best spa in the United States and overall world's best spa based on accommodations, service, treatments, food and value. Needless to say, we wanted to see what made everyone think so highly of the Canyon Ranch name.
