Last year, I decided to go
natural with my hair so I cut my perm off and now,
less than a year later, my hair is at in awkard
stage in the grow out process- still too short for a
pony tail but not long enough to wrap and maintain a
curl - so I did what many black women do when their
is in this weird stage;
I got braids! Saturday night, I took out my braids and did the best I could with my thick hair. When I finished curling it, I jumped on the computer to find a salon open on Sundays because my hair was BUSTED! Thats when I found Xquisite. When I entered the salon, I felt extremely comfortable. My stylist, Shayna, was awesome! She took my wild mane and tamed it into a beautiful do...what's best about all of this is that my hair looks like I just got a perm!
I loved the Aveda products since they did not weigh my hair down and my stylist made me feel comfortable with getting my hair styled in a setting that is not a 'natural' salon, so to speak. I highly recommend ANYONE who is going the natural route to go to Xquisite. The atmosphere is comfortable, the service great and the prices, in comparison to other "high end, all natural" salons, cannot be beat - Click out their website for daily discounts! Shanya, thanks for taking me in last minute and transforming the madness...I will be back because we really need to train my mane :-)

Between last Thursday and and
Saturday 8 girls from wedding party, my mother,
and myself had our hair done at Xquisite. They
even sent a stylist to my house Saturday evening
to touch up everyone's hair after we got
dressed. We all looked great and I recommend
Xquisite for everyone's wedding party. I
especially want to thank Lawrence for putting up
with me and my crazy sisters!
