There's nothing staid or ordinary about this spa, which caters to a self-empowered, self-possessed clientele of cute girls--and a fair number of gay and straight boys who care about managing the amount of hair on their bodies. Slogans like "What are you bitches looking at?" are on the sexy T-shirts and undies for sale that hang on the walls. Wax On's women are all about girl power, a saucy attitude and looking good.

This in-and-out day spa is aptly named, because it's the expert waxing that draws the crowds (in addition to Decleor facials and lash/brow tinting). Rooms are well-lit, spotless and sanitary, with beautiful ceiling windows. The top-notch aestheticians excel in making clients comfortable as they perform this intimate service and the resulting Brazilian waxes are worth the pain, and so thorough you'll do cartwheels in your bikini to celebrate.

I have been to Wax On capitol hill several times and I love it every time I'm there. I have seen Sara, Shelley and Steph - they all wax a "mean eyebrow". Everyone is very thorough and considerate. I love Wax On because it's not pretentious like so many other spas are. Heck you can even have a swig of whiskey if you're feeling nervous - how can you not love that! I recommend this place for sure!!
Pros: if they can get you in that day they will; fun, upbeat atmosphere, friendly staff. whiskey!!!
Cons: can't really think of any.

I highly recommend Wax On to anyone who wants a quality Brazilian wax. I went there for my first ever Brazilian and have been a devoted customer ever since. Sara is

absolutely the best! Her quick technique was as painless as possible. Of course there is some level of discomfort. However, Sara makes every effort to lessen the discomfort; she is very experienced and definitely knows what she is doing. I was quite nervous and scared about the pain factor. Before I had ever been waxed I heard horror stories of bad waxing experiences from around the country. Reassuringly, she took the time to answer all my questions, explain what to expect and provided top-notch follow up care recommendation. I would not consider going anywhere else for my waxing
